How did you find out about Minecraft?

I learned about Minecraft from a friend who showed me a YouTube video. It was back in the early days, before Survival came out. I played a LOT in the original creative on a server, and became an OP. Then I bought Alpha, and never looked back. Love the game, and have logged more hours then I'm comfortable with sharing. LOL

I was getting ready for a football game when in the locker room, I noticed my friend playing a game on his phone. I asked, "What kind of game would use these awful graphics?" He said, "Minecraft!" and handed me his phone to let me try it. Haven't been off it since.
