Complaints Heartbeat "Disable video autoplay" restarts video

The feature that disables autoplay for YouTube videos starts the video over from the beginning even if your position is saved. This is very inconvenient for people who watch a lot of videos and don't want to lose their position if they have to close the page for some reason. I've attempted to report this issue via Heartbeat Feedback and the Chrome Web Store but have gotten no response from the developers.

i've not had YouTube save my position in a video in YEARS I didn't even know that was a feature anymore. is it automagical or do you do it manually now?

It automatically saves my video position. I tend to watch very long videos so having it start over from the beginning with the disable autoplay option enabled is extremely inconvenient. I've had to disable this option that I really want to use until something can be done about this behavior.[DOUBLEPOST=1449877051][/DOUBLEPOST]Do you have plans on modifying the Heartbeat extension to correct this issue? I can't imagine it would be too difficult considering all of the awesome things it already does.
