As far as I'm aware this was designed for the team to have some time to reach out to the partner to resolve eventual misunderstandings and to prevent misclicks. There's also no real downside as the no lock in contract is still way more forgiving to let you leave than industry standard lock-in contracts.

There is a downside no matter what you gotta split revenue with them for 30 extra days... But ironically they can remove you instantly...

and PS. Youtube forced them to let you go in 30 days lol..

Freedom can release channels immediately if there is any issues with things like copyright, this is to ensure Freedom doesn't get into even more trouble for your content, also as a way to distance themselves and protect themselves from any legal fallout. As for the 30 day cool down this is to allow Freedom and other MCN's to try and put things right, if there is any issues or concerns but also as a way to retain channels.[DOUBLEPOST=1526932354][/DOUBLEPOST]Freedom can release channels immediately if there is any issues with things like copyright, this is to ensure Freedom doesn't get into even more trouble for your content, also as a way to distance themselves and protect themselves from any legal fallout. From what I know about partnerships (Little) youtube does that so that if you have a contact with the MCN that might state you need to be in it for a x amount of time they can see you are leaving and make it so you cant, but if the MCN wants you gone they can kick you right away
