Does Anyone else's desktop look like this while you are editing a video?
Sometimes, but generally mine is just my editing software and Google
It's rare that I need to put things up on my second monitor for video editing. Sony Vegas does a great job with files to the point I really don't need any other windows. I do however, find the second monitor useful for Gimp, keep all the tools and such on my second monitor and the canvas on my main.

.... DEAR LORD I HAVE NEVER EVEN THOUGHT OF THAT XD However, how is your editing station like? XD
I havent edited in a long time so im not sure how it would look if i did it again, though it used to be pretty clean, one screen for editing software and another screen for random things
When my machine is editing, I'll flutter between the editing software and AudioMicro/EpidemicSound/YouTube Sound to find suitable sound effects for the video, and even though I have just one screen I tend to operate in full screen mode when possible.
When rendering, I move over to my laptop and just listen to some musical stylings while it renders, often dozing off when doing so.
