For as far as i know Youtube Red is a service wich you have to pay a monthly subscription for. With it you can vieuw video's without advertise showing and get certain benefits on youtube and a subscription to google music. Further then that i don't know (Yet)

well so far ive gotton like 20 views from youtube red and earned like 4 cents.

It's another way of earning money. People who use Youtube Red and watch your videos will earn you a lot more money than people who just watch with ads. Only problem is not many people use Youtube Red so you probably wont earn much with it. You do not need to sign up for Youtube Red to earn money from other users using it.
