What you think GAMER means?

Someone that is dedicated to the hobby. Knowledgeable, and remembers to have fun with it.
I feel that a GAMER is somebody who is knowledgeable on gaming in general, and they follow it like sports.What defines someone as a GAMER? How we know who gamer and who not?

I have a video on my channel explaining what it means NOT to be a gamer.
I'll happily explain it here, if you do not want to watch my video of course. To not be a gamer is to not play minecraft. Easier said then done.
Not saying anything wrong with minecraft youtubers. I just hate how people say they are a gamer and play only minecraft 24/7.

Thats my definition too...
For sure we have some preferences, but a true gamer is a person that can jump into any game without stumbling too much.
Im more of an old school gamer myself... You wont catch me playing alot of mmo's or competative first person shooters...
Why label people?
I guess anyone that regularly plays games is a gamer. Doesn't matter platform or skill level.

If you dare call yourself a gamer, I expect you to be broad-minded enough to be willing to try out different genres of games, and not stick to a specific genre or game for a long period of time, because then you'd be called a fanboy or enthusiast, and absolutely NOT a gamer.
