What should I do when I hit 250k subscribers?

A QnA or maybe a Giveaway, or even just a Vlog.
Anything to be more personable would go well with people that are subscribed to you

I can't suggest doing a giveaway, since then it might end up obligating people to subscribe - You don't want people subscribing for the maybe-get-something-free thought.
Perhaps you could open an opinion poll about perhaps opening a second channel for those who want to see lyric videos from a different (but particular) artist. That could expand your horizon and further the growth of your brand.

You should make a video where you thank everybody for the 250 subs and that you will continue making videos just for them so they stay sub to you and continue looking forward to your videos
Talk about the people that got you to where you are! Everyone loves to be talked about when they helped you out ^^
something where the subs can talk to you is a great idea rather than just a run of the mill giveaway IMO
Do something no other youtuber has done. It is so unoriginal when you see "Pepper challenge () special" or QandA, Omegle, or anything of a sort. Make something nobody has seen before. Doing such simple things won't feel so special to your subs and many people will ignore it if not original. Giveaways are sometimes great but only a set amount of your subs get anything from it, the rest just see nothing special. Take Ryan Higa's videos for example. Each one is thought out marvelously and are genius. Do something that nobody would expect.
