It looks good, the only thing I would recommend, is to add a similar "black" outline as you did for the text, to the blue and red character thumbnails. The ref one is fine, but the blue can be a bit hard to see especially if you're color blind.

hay mate i like the thumbnail. although it feels like there is a lot going on maybe simplifying it may be better but its still great as it is

Hey man I really like the picture, but I don't know about it being a thumbnail with so much text on it. Remember everything looks very small on a thumbnail especially on a phone so I would suggest using less text. The simpler the better is what I think.
