Hey everybody! I created this banner for myself and I wanted some feedback on it. If you think I should add anything or remove anything or change anything just tell me.
What color do you think it should be?Looks good but i'm not sure if purple and orange are a good mix when it comes to colours. Besided that i like the banner.

Thanks for the help![DOUBLEPOST=1447119760][/DOUBLEPOST]This is the updated banner!Hi Wesley! Just to give you an idea of which colours mix and which don't here's a link to some colour wheels.

It's quite a long piece of text, but it should help you to understand how to put two colours that go well with each other (Or more than two)
Overall good concept but every parts screams for the attention and you don't know where to look. I suggest when it comes to social tags keep its presence on a lower priority then the name itself. B/C at the moment they are drawing more attention then the name. Thanks for the help![DOUBLEPOST=1447119760][/DOUBLEPOST]This is the updated banner!
lol yeah i like purple[DOUBLEPOST=1447187292][/DOUBLEPOST]good design but purple color
True. Do you think I should shrink it down a bit? Like the overall size of the square for the social media?Overall good concept but every parts screams for the attention and you don't know where to look. Me personally I don't put anything behind the social tags unless it's a expanded shape that will go behind bothlol yeah i like purple[DOUBLEPOST=1447187292][/DOUBLEPOST]

No it's okay I understand I like criticism and it helps me get better because I like doing graphics work. It's a bit too bright everywhere. TaintedSoldiers got it right when he said that it's kind of screaming for attention everywhere. You need a little bit of variation in your saturation.
Another thing is that honestly none of the parts feel like they belongs with each other. There's no consistency holding the piece together so it makes it look like everything is just kind of literally thrown on top of the background. I suggest studying some basic color theory for color combinations and using that to your advantage. Maybe color correct the guns and fade parts of them slightly so they fit with your backgrounds.
Also try to cool it on the "text with a stroke" routine. Not all text needs a stroke. Here in particular, the orange is too bright for its white stroke, in my opinion.
this might seem like a really mean post, sorry, but it's best to make your mistakes early on so you can learn from them!

You only changed colors from what i can see. So the issue still applies. You have to do more with the name less with the extra.Made a new update to the banner again!
I took out the "CS:GO and More", took out the stroke from my @'s and changed the color of them and my W in the logo to blue so the colors would go together a bit better. You only changed colors from what i can see. So the issue still applies. You have to do more with the name less with the extra.
Okay but the name is still lacking compared to everything else. It needs more to it still.I took out the "CS:GO and More", took out the stroke from my @'s and changed the color of them and my W in the logo to blue so the colors would go together a bit better.
