I've just been to the Introduce yourself! page and I noticed that there's some spam going on from a person named dasdeep2006 about something I don't know, can any staff explain what's going on here or stop this spam?

If you see anything like that just report it and they'll review it and take necessary action
Like what @Goped Fred said, if you see spam, please report it so the next time moderators log on, they'll be able to see your report and proceed with the necessary steps.
Spam accounts happen, unfortunately. I know @41Danny1 is trying to come up with something that will stop them from posting here, but it's till a work in progress.

It happens every couple of days, I'm sure they will find a fix to it. Message a mod ASAP when they're online, because they can stay up for quite a while.
