Server, how to?

Ive wanted to setup a server to play with a friend, ive tried but failed

So sinple way possible (as im still learing about coding and stuff) whats the easiest way to do that?

Its a skyfactory 2.5 sever ^_^

im not sure if its still the same but bakc when i played mc we used hamachi to set up a server, if that dosen't work than all i could recommend is maybe get a small sevrer for you and your friends from a server hosting site like mcprohosting. As for the hamachi there should be plenty of tuts on youtube if you havent tried that.
