How do you remove a watermark from a video in Sony Vegas or any other software program?

Usually there is a reason that a watermark is on a video, why do you want to remove it?

Watermarks are out there for a reason. You can't just download a video off the Internet and take the watermark away from it as that would be against copyright and fair use laws.
