In 2014 Overkill announced it's own version of The Walking Dead. It will be a co-op FPS, with elements of action, role-playing, survival horror, and stealth based on The Walking Dead Comics (NOT the TV show) So comic nerds enjoy that potential we have yet too see. However Overkill's The Walking Dead has been delayed until second half of 2017 as part of the new $40 million investment in Starbreeze by Korean gaming company Smilegate giving Starbreeze rights to develop a new co-op FPS based on the Crossfire franchise for Western markets and also allowing the ability to release Payday 2 and The Walking Dead on Smilegate's platform in Asia. The major problem is with fans let down with regards to FPS Walking Dead titles. Who does this game appeal too?
