New heavy editing channel, good idea?

So I'm thinking of making a new channel so I can post my lightly edited series on my main, and posting rnadom games that are heavily edited on my other channel, do you guys think this is a good idea?

It could be an idea to do it on a seperate channel but that makes me think why not do it all on your current channel?
