Comments Make chat more obvious?

Hi there, first of all, I would like to say thank you to the Freedom! Staff. You guys are amazing! Secondly I was just wondering if you guys have ever thought of making the chat a bit more obvious? as when someone talks in chat you don't realise till you actually go into chat. So as a suggestion could you guys make a notification (like facebook) for when chat recieves a message?

A part of the chat used to be when someone tagged your name, you'd receive a notification about the fact you were tagged in a chat message.

I don't know why they got rid of it.
