No the rules haven't changed you still link things in your signature. If you were using the tool provided by CyanLabs, which some people were, this is no longer available, as it seems like the site is down as such you can't use it. Though other members such as LW001 have linked helpful threads in their signature, which not only looks great, but is very helpful when people see it
