Solved Lagging whilst driving in GTA

anyone plays gta 5, i have lag when i drive. it's really bad

Specs:
i7 6700hq 2.60ghz
960m 4gb ddr3
8 gb ram

Not sure if there is much we could offer as a suggestion other than checking your internet speed, moving closer to the router, using a wired connection, or even playing during off-peak times. If its not online gaming and lagging whilst playing offline then this might be issues with your system, data corruption, bad files, low disk space or any number of things. Have you done any disk defrag's or disc cleanup's recently?

You could try to lower some graphics settings, that fixed some lagging for me, i don't remember if i did anything else but that's where i started

Well that would be more than enough by quite a bit. As we've rooted out storage issues and fragmentation shouldn't be an issue I don't know more either. Probably the GTA forums know more about that stuff, as pulse mentioned.
