If you take the time to learn some simple things you can easily make a simple logo and banner for your channel I recommend using a program called paint .net you can get it via http://www.getpaint.net/download.html if you have Windows, if you have something else I don't know, there are some videos about the program on YouTube it's also it's what I used to create my channel art and logo.
