It can really bother viewers if there is background noice, but via audactiy you can simply remove it!
This can remove really silent background noise but also things like a cooling fans or a really loud pc!

At first you must download audacity of course ( http://www.audacityteam.org/download/ )

When you open up audacity go ahead and record something, or open a old recording of you!
If you start a new recording i recommand to wait a few seconds before you begin talking to be sure it can get the noice away the best.

When you are done recording select the part when you dont talk (the first few seconds probably) and go to effect -> noice reduction

In this window i set my noice reduction sliter to 21 db, sensitivity to 8,00 and smoothing to 3, there are my settings but others may work better for you!

Click get noice profile and it will see the noise.
Now select your whole recording (click at the part under audio track as a shortcut), go to effect -> repeat noise reduction and wait to remove all the noise.

If it's done you can export the audio file and all noise will be gone!

If you have any problems just tell me!
