Just be active and collaborate. Post videos every 3 days or weekly and make sure to join forums which is full of people interested in your content so you can advertise your videos there and they will subscribe to you.

Do something that you think is out of the box. Like what the rest of the comments say, be creative. And most importantly, do what you love, and be inspired! New ideas will come, and new viewers will visit. Get the momentum going, and you'll be on your way

Have a consistent upload schedule. I do daily. It depends on what you want it to be. But I recommend highly to do at least 3 a week. If you do music maybe once a week or every other week or you could be crazy and do multiple covers or original song uploads a week.
Don't focus on the views. Focus more on growing watch time. The more watch time will help your channel grow quicker. The engagement within the first 24 hours is important too. It helps with SEO.
