How to get those big names to collab?

I often read, and see in videos, people suggesting a big collab will help grow a channel. I do believe the exposure from a big channel or personality will absolutely help to grow your own channel, but are there any tips and tricks to make this happen?

I would love to collab with lots of Youtube Vloggers, but I'm such a small entity on Youtube, and I'm sure these people get requests on a daily basis.

Does anyone have surefire ways to get big names to collab with you?

With a big collab they didn't mean collab with a big youtuber. But collab with a lot of people wich are also collaberating with eachother. Just look for people who you like to collab with and make a group of it. And collab with a big youtuber is something you can forget for now till you bigger than 10K subs with at least 1000 views each video.

I've gotta free shoutouts from some YouTube friends that have a channel with over a million subscribers before. Didn't really help much. Maybe gained a couple hundred subscribers from getting a little channel boost from them.
