Hi guys i am trying very hard to become a good youtube and really want to reach 500 subs! I just do not know how to get a little exposure to take off. Any help or suggestions? I post about every day or every other day.

Consistence isn't' always the key, of course it goes without saying that make sure your content is of good quality first and foremost. Aside from that try and use other avenues to get to know other users, what i mean by that is go around different forum site, not necessarily promoting but getting to know other users, build up your social interactions.
After you have done that then you can start looking for other ways to advertise your content, make sure you are making the most from other sites, such as Facebook / Twitter / Google+ even if you start out with those and release your content on them then your good to go. Also makes sure your making the most out of your thumbnails and tags

- Upload on a regular basis
- Good content
- Interact with your subscribers
- Be entertaining
- Networking (forums etc)
- SEO (This is key)
- Good GFX
All of that will make your channel grow and prosper, I assure you.
