i'm kinda in the same boat with you...i'm still stuck at 158 subs and few views.
I try to follow and not follow trends in my genre.
So on the one hand I please my audience but on the other I try to surprise them and it does seem to work for me!

I normally just support other content creators and never really ask for people to check out my channel. But after a while I guess they just click my name and find out I make vids and end up enjoying I guess lol. But then again, I barely have any subs or views so im looking for tips too haha
Do videos on things everyone is really hyped for that no one else has done a video on. That's how I do it. Its really hard to find subjects like this though. Honestly just make videos for the fun of it and you'll end up finding it by accident.
