Napoleon Bonaparte is on the island of Corsica in 1769. It is a military school and he was appointed head of the French army in 1796. The same year he married Josephine de Beauharnais. In 1799, he takes control of the French government and proclaimed himself emperor in 1804. In 1812, he attacked Russia, but it was his first great defeat. He was sent to exile in Elba in 1814. A year later he returned to France. He loses the Battle of Waterloo and is a prisoner guard on the island of Saint Helen. He did in Saint Helen in 1821.

Napoleon Bonaparte is a great figure in the history of France. He is a military hero who brings victory and glory to his country. His reign has seen many changes: he reorganized justice, administration and education in France. Napoleon is an heir of the French Revolution, but he respects the ideal of the revolution: Liberty, equality, and fraternity.

Take example of servitude. In 1794, the revolutionary government voted for the abolition of slavery in France and it's colonies. Eight years later, Napoleon annuls the law. The salvery returned to France and lasts 46 years. Another example: in 1802, Napoleon sends the French army in Haiti to stop Toussant Louverture. His crime: he oraganized a revolt against the Europeans and it created a Haitian republic.

I didn't know some of the words so I had to look them up, and some of the words were kind of hard to read. Hopefully this works for you.
