Have you found your target audience?

Do you guys create content for one particular target audience? I always would make general content all the up until last month, and I started creating content for a small group of fans I am a part of. Last month turned out to be the biggest month ever for my channel, almost doubling my previous all time in high in terms of views and minutes watched.

What I do is fairly specific, I only focus on one game and only one part of that game. It can be a good idea to focus on one area especially starting out, create the best videos for that thing and you are more likely to get noticed.

My target audience is Game Developers, more specifically Game Developers that use the Unity Game Engine.
Well, pretty much anyone interested in Game Development can watch my videos.

Well at first i was making way too diverse content wich didn't work.

Now i try to keep focus on 3 games wich are Final Fantasy XIV, Diablo 3 and Overwatch. I now see that my Diablo 3 series is pulling alot of new viewers and that my already subbed audience is liking it too. I can confirm what Koala says that putting the focus on a certain game can work indeed.
