Getting personal is a little harder for me. Not because I'm a gaming channel, but rather because I'm not the most personable person to be around. I might come off a little different via text, but it's how I am in real life. I've been dating my boyfriend for almost 2 years, and I rarely ever talk about myself / my day. I do it only when asked, really.
I try to make myself do vlogs, but I find it really hard. I usually have to think about it far in advanced and then actually set a time to do it and even then, it's not easy for me. But I guess, how I try to make things personal is just talking about my life and what's going on. (Which I don't think I've done in a long time) and if I go on trips, I'll talk to my fireflies (that's what I'm calling my subscribers!) about it and tell them if they're in the area to meet up with me and whatever.
However I can do be more "me" I guess is one step towards being more personable.
