Getting account closed!

OH MY SWEET BUTTERY JESUS!

I was wondering why I am losing my subscribers!
ITS NOT BECAUSE THEY UNSUBSCRIBED!
But because they are being kicked out of YouTube for being inactive for too long.



I just had a huge drop on subscribers last few weeks and I never thought about that. So I checked my subscriber analytics I lost about 40 subscribers in total because of that.

I still can't believe it. I never thought that thing exist.

well you shouldnt worry to much about lost subscribers because of this, if they are inactive it means they would never watch your content anyway because, well they are inactive. that said yeah it has been a thing for a while

Again, if they didn't log on in ages they're not a loss in viewers.

I'm surprised you didn't know that was a thing, YouTube regularly checks its accounts and closes those which have been inactive for some time, along with spammy / ghost accounts. If they have been inactive for some time you shouldn't worry about this having a negative effect on your channel as they wouldn't have been watching your videos (due to their inactivity)
