lol, well dragonball was my favourite when I was a kid, but I do love detective conan, even though I dont have enough time to keep watching it 
Dude, i think Gintama is unbeatable on so many levels. You really need to spend hours watching first episodes to get into it, but man.. When you do. Comedy, action, awesome humor, story, feels. Everything! Its just like old wine, it gets better and better over time. And it has pretty unique characters.
Every time, I go with Clannad. It's a real journey, that has a lot of hardship, and it can be incredibly sad at times.
Conan was a badass series! As for Anime i watch alot but to name one to be my favorite it has to be Highschool of the Dead
