Fan Funding

I want to turn on Fan Funding but it says I'm ineligible

Some countries don't have fan funding available, so that maybe what's making you ineligible.

Also note that if you are partnered with Freedom unfortunately fan funding is not available whilst in the network.

At your size, it just makes you look greedy. I wouldn't turn it on until at least 25k subs. Even then Patreon is more effective.

You can set up your own personal donation site and link it on your videos, using Patreon or with paypal. It's quite rare that someone will support a channel with their own money though. I have seen 100k+ sub channels that have asked for patreon donations and they have had pretty much nothing out of it. People don't usually part with their money very easily, especially it it's someone they don't know.

You really shouldn't be worried about fan funding until you're bigger lol. At least around 25,000.

Well there's the thing, I am pretty small, but I had a guy who wanted to donate but couldn't because the fan funding button wasn't there.
