YouTube Editing

I love posting videos but I sometimes get bored while editing. I really want to post more videos but I get bored and sometimes can't find the time to. I would try to hire an editor but as a rule of thumb I don't trust people I don't fully know. Anyone have any tips for editing?

Personally I just watch this video:

Then think, "I'll get views, watch time, feel good for getting it done, grow my channel". Then I think, "If you don't do this you're giving up on a dream, this is the difference between YouTubers who are active and do stuff". and I'm just like, "It's not even that bad to edit it" crack it open and get going.

If it gets too unbearable I just edit a different video or instead use the time to record more videos.

editing isnt the most fun however getting the gameplay and making a commentary is a awesome feeling
