Solved Covers, copyright, and verification

Hey family!

I have a question running into my head since yesterday. Here's my question:

I made a cover of skyrim theme song and I asked for the original piano sheets. I had the autorisation to use them BUT there's a copyright protection on my video (private for now). We agreed to share the revenues, there is no restrictions, and of course it's not a strike.

But in a few months I would like to get my channel verified and on George's video, he says that channels with copyright content CAN'T allow this channel to get verified.

So I am wondering one thing: is that even okay to publish this video?

If you have permission to use the content then it is not copyright. The video you mention is about when you recieved copyright strikes and leave them be. If you have permission to use it and therefor don't recieve a strike your good to go.

If there is an agreement with the original copyright holder then there would be no issues in future verification as long as you could prove it.

Safest would be to not use it at all, but with proof of permission you should be fine.
