Just thought I’d post this here for anyone who may be using CCleaner, hope nobody’s computer got infected.

I remember reading this a few days ago, while I'm not effected by this it is reassuring to know that they are aware of it and have released a patch to fix this rather quickly

oh crap. Just glad I'm on a 64-bit PC![DOUBLEPOST=1505920817][/DOUBLEPOST]Also, tried the regedit thing. Thank god I'm not infected, but Windows Defender and Malwarebytes were having none of it...

Makes me glad I got rid of CCleaner a long time ago! Stuck with Windows Defender and Malwarebytes since and haven't had a virus in like 3 years.
