You shouldn't be dropping your link into threads, but what you can do is add your link to appear under your threads, so if people wanted to check you out they can go straight to your channel. You can add this information by clicking on your profile icon in the top right of the screen and then scrolling down to the 'YouTube channel' section - and what you need to do is just add in your channel ID - not the whole URL or what your channel is called.
For example if when you view your channel the URL shows www.youtube.com/channel/Thisisatest - then you would only type in 'Thisisatest'
