Any free or cheap Photoshop workarounds?

So recently I've been trying to find ways to increase my thumbnail quality for my YouTube videos, but I've been running into allot of MS paint remakes and other tools that can barely edit photos at all.

As of right now, Picsart is my photo editor, it works fine but its missing allot of tools that i would like to have for better thumbnail creation.

So i wanted to ask everyone here if they know of any good photo editors for free, or atleast for a very cheap price. I'm only 14 and were a week away from the winter so i don't have lawns that i can mow, so all answers will help me out allot.

Gimp - totally free

GIMP is a full image manipulation program.
For thumbnails all you really need is a free online tool named CANVA.

You can use a free service called Gimp, it's basically a free Photoshop, I used that before I bought a PS liscence

GIMP is great for free, but photoshop is 10/month

As most people say above i would go with GIMP. Use it myself and it has all the things you need to create some decent thumbnails

You should use gimp I know of this add on that turns GIMP into Photoshop its great
