Alright, so which do you use for your gameplay videos? 720p60FPS for that smooth yet beautiful gameplay, or 1080p for that more beautiful yet not as smooth gameplay? I have been using 1080p but I plan on switching over to 720p60FPS because it looks good and it's also smooth to watch.

I used to put up videos with 720 settings but it wasn't good enough. When screen gets bigger 720 starts blur up quite fast. Even with my 27" its somewhat annoying to watch. Good thing is that render times are very fast with 720 ;). Now i'm only rolling with 1080 and chose to do so becouse thats how i like to watch my videos, so why make others watch "bader" quality :).

I feel like 720p would be better. 1080p is harder for people to register on, and the fluidity of the 60 fps will be very elegant ^^

I do the best of both, and record at 1080p60fps.

Bottom line is, don't upload anything unless it's at least non-scaled 720p (1280x720). I recommend recording and rendering in 60fps if you have hardware capable of recording in 60fps though it's not required. On my channel, I record most things in 720p60, with some exception with content being recorded in 720p30 (due to some hardware limitations) but the quality looks pretty good nonetheless (even if I have to compress the footage due to slow internet).
Again, the bottom line is, do not upload anything unless it's at least non-scaled 720p.

720/60 100%. 720p is still HD, and 60fps is normal now, even most console games have 60fps iirc.

I usually do 1080p 30fps...
I think it depends on what content your making... for fast paced graphics like racing or first person shooters 60fps would be better...

1080p any day. 1080p scales better since 720p will only make the video look blurry on a 1080p screen.

1080p @ 30fps is better than 720p @ 60fps.
If the hardware cant deal with 1080p I can find it acceptable with 720p.

720p for me personally is much better. Faster to render, still looks crisp and for games 60fps is great, if I render in 1080p the frame rate is only 30fps due to the Elgato cap :(

Personally idk the difference between 1080p and 720p. I wouldn't notice unless I was kind of trying, so yea id rather be with 720p

If you can, you'd render at 1080p. Because your offering the best quality (visual) content to your viewers.

Viewers having the option to watch in 1080p will make it look like you've put more effort into your video, putting a lot more time sitting through longer render, compression, and upload times. But 720p looks more or less the same - unless you have a really big HD TV.

But for anyone reading, I'd go with what's best for your internet speed.

Personally, I render all of my videos in 1920x1080 comp at 29.97fps (movie fps). This is because there's no need for 60fps in a video.

The human eye has a hard time telling the difference between 720p and 1080p on anything smaller than around a 32in screen. the area just isn't there to differentiate the two. FPS count however can be more dramatic a variation. I'd shoot for 1080p60fps, but 720p60fps is better than 1080p30fps, IMHO.
