I think both are guilty of some things, not that I really care or anything.

Try talking more to your viewers instead of your friends. Your banner and thumbnails also look kind of cheap. Other than that you're doing a pretty good job :)

I think you can do alot better on the avatar/banner. It looks very childish at the moment.
