YouTube Youtube Copyright Claims

[Creative Myth]

So I made a video in Dark Souls 2 and uploaded it on Monday. 5 minutes after making the video public it got copyright claimed. It says 2 channels copyright claimed it but it's only one claim. I didn't use anybody's video or content. Didn't use anybody's song. Didn't take anything fro anyone's channel. I disputed the claim and YouTube allowed the video to be viewed by people now. Has this ever happened to anyone else?

I can't say I've ever had a "2 channel copyright claim" on any of my videos. The latest one is where one of my video was restricted from viewing outside of America and Canada, but a quick dispute and 3 days later they had released it. Seems a bit strange, another great reason why I think the YouTube copyright system is flawed

Was there any cut scenes that were included in the video, these can sometimes be claimed by the game producer. If it's just gameplay from another channel you should be able to dispute it. Although some games you have to have commentary throughout the video for it to be allowed on YouTube.

I don't know what happened. Google automatically took my side and dropped the claim the same day. Like I said I didn't have any other content besides gameplay and my sexy voice.
