Tips & Tricks Screen Record with Sound

Hi Everyone,

Is there a way to screen record and capture sound? If so, what is the best free software to download? I am currently screen recording in PowerPoint. It is good, but It does not record sound.

most of the people I know and I personally use OBS studio. It's a free screen capture software that allows you to do just that: record screen and sound and mic (if needed). And you can always watch some tutorials on YouTube if you'll have any troubles setting things up.

If you are on windows 10 then you should hold the win + G

This is a screen recorder built-in with windows and you can record your screen with sound, the recordings will save to you're doccuments folder.

The recorder is pretty solid and is built in just as long as you have windows updated, Its very simple to use and really straight forward.

Like Lazypun said above there is also OBS which can record higher quality video and audio if you know what you're doing, Its a great option but if your looking for something fast and easy with good quality and no limits then hold win + alt, You can even try it right here in the post and it'll pop up lol

Well, you have options. The go to programs would be OBS or Fraps, but to negate the FPS drop try having it record to an EX. HD.
