Mojang (owned by Microsoft) is trying to remove the fake scam game disguised as Minecraft Pocket Edition 2 by Scott Cawthorn a misspelling of Five Nights at Freddy's creator Scott Cawthon. The worst part of the damage is the $7 scam game managed into one of the top 5 potions of the top grossing charts, ranking at number 4. The fake Minecraft game doesn't even look like a minecraft game at all, its a top down swipe game where zombies attack Scorpion from Mortal Kombat.
Mojang's Owen Hill has commented on the recent issue,
"It's great that Minecraft has inspired people to create amazing things, but when a product attempts to dupe our community or exploit their enthusiasm for the game, it's our responsibility to step in. Our dedicated enforcement team are extremely busy!"
