Best thing to do is just wait a bit longer than asking people to sub so you can hit 300 milestone. You want subs of people who actually watch your content. Keep doing the videos you are and i'm sure you'll hit that milestone very soon.

I recently myself got to 300 subs the other day which has taken me nearly 5 years to reach. :/ As the saying goes patients is a virtue.
