YouTube Audio - Mics and sound boards

So my question....
Is it worth getting a sound board if so what do you use or recommend??

Do you guys record audio separately to your videos or in one... For example FRAPs tends to record mine and friend talking whilst the game volume is in background??

Want to improve quality

If anything you could record video via fraps, OBS, etc. and record audio with audacity or something like that. I've had to do that in the past with my game capture not working with mics properly.

I dont have a problem with mics not working... I just want to improve my mic quality . but thank you for your input

I have it, and oh how the quality improves.
