I have just reached 17k total views on my gamming and music channel! My every first video has also just reached 1k views. How fare I have come in the last year. The video quality has gone up a lot I think

Yeah... Would help if my parents supported me, but they think YouTube is a waste of money and time.
When I started YouTube I was so nervous of starting out. But something in my head kept on saying, "Just do it!" I kept telling myself no for like 2 or so months. Just ignoring the thought of "Just do it!" I then started my channel and my videos were so bad! But as I kept going, I eventually built up the nervous to eventually do videos in public more. I have many a ton of awesome new friends just from starting. If I didn't start. I don't know what I would be doing today. Because I learned so much about how to do video editing and how to run a camera properly. It led me into running my own videography, and photography business.
