Find your own schedule that you are comfortable with. Every day, 2-3 times a week or weekly - it's up to you. But once you do it, be consistent with it.

most of the people I know and I personally use OBS studio. It's a free screen capture software that allows you to do just that: record screen and sound and mic (if needed). And you can always watch some tutorials on YouTube if you'll have any troubles setting things up.
