Were You Able To Play Crysis?

Its been a decade since Crysis was released.....A game so powerful that Crytek wanted to show the world that games in PC can look so much better than consoles
A game so powerful that only few PCs would run...as far as I remember people would ask "Can your PC run Crysis"...Those were the days
Were you able to play Crysis the time it came out?...I know I didn't because it took me an year to play Crysis on medium to low settings

No, definitely not! All we had was the family PC in the living room; it was an old Gateway. I remember trying to get GTA IV to run on that, and eventually on my first laptop. It didn't really work on either of the machines, so Crysis was out of the picture.

LoL, you can squeeze everything out of new i7 CPU's with that game.
Now game itself is not the problem, but optimization is.

I could play it, but on low settings and it still was choppy. I can run it with ease these days, but when Crysis came out, it was the technical benchmark for all future games.

That is correct it was a benchmark for all the future games
