Hello,

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this but I am wondering if there is anyone in here that can help me get verified on youtube. In other words, the the verified check by my channel. I don't want to hear your crap that you have to have over 100,000 subs because that's not true. You do have to have over 100,000 subs if you want to verify your channel on your own but you can get it before by going through someone that will go directly to youtube.

So I guess what I'm really asking here is will someone from Freedom! willing to help get me verified?

This is what youtube says:
FAQ
Once your channel gets 100,000 subscribers, you’re eligible to submit a request to YouTube for a verification badge. Note that we've made changes to this process over time, so you may see many types of channels with verification badges on YouTube.
Note: If you’re an advertiser interested in a verification badge, contact your sales manager to learn more.

Now I have see some channels that have the verification check at 800 subs and up. To get this, you have to go through your network or your youtube manager.

I'm trying to get verified myself on youtube and on twitter. Haven't found much. It seems that you have to have a manager of some sort that has connections with people at support.

Maybe this vid will help:

Thanks :)

As I said previous Freedom will only accept and pass on verification requests once you have hit 100,000 subscribers, as outlined by Youtube's FAQ - however as I said I will bring the point up about being a "advertiser" in the next staff meeting and try and get some more clarification about this.

In addition to what @zeke morgan has put. The "100,000 crap" is unfortunately what you are going to hear. It is YouTube's requirement that they have sent out to Networks, this is all networks, not just Freedom!

Those channels that got it under this number simply got it prior to YouTube putting in the higher requirement. They made it 100,000 due to too many requests.

So when did all this "100,000 subs" thing start? Was this just recent? I have heard of this fro a year or so now but I have seen verified channels with less then...

Here are some people that have under 100,000 that got verified about a month or so ago: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCKUAVy2Kd0vAsu1D89y7ujg and https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCkaxSF3Pm2tcJwbvD8X8deg

I've also read a few things that if you email YouTube support asking how you can enroll in the channel consultation program, you can directly ask a Google employee about acquiring a badge. Maybe that's worth a shot?

it could be, but usually they are looking for channels with more than 10k subs, as far as i know. but apply and see how it goes
