Hello there again the great people of the forum ! FFF is on time this week, I did not forget about it :D !

Biggest news of the week, changes to YPP !

As most of you have probably already have heard about the youtube policy changes, any channels that do not meet the new requirements (1k subs and 4k hours watch time last year) will not be able to monetize the videos anymore. That may be quite worrisome for the smaller partners, so I would highly suggest, if you have not seen it yet, reading the announcement thread we're made Here.

Close to meeting the requirements ? Read on !

You're oh so close to meeting the new YouTube requirements but aren't sure if you will get there in time ? We will try to help out ! Here you can find a thread where we will share channels that are close to the requirements. I would just like to remind real quick that the rules against sub4sub and similar exploits are still in place and will not be tolerated. The thread is only for channels to get more publicity and chances to be noticed by the community :)

New Moderators  ?

You've heard right, new mods are incoming :D And guess what, you still have a chance to apply ! But make sure to hurry up, there's only so much time ! Join this awesome team while you have a chance :3 Link Here.

Achievements !

As always it is time to mention the best of this week ;) !

First up, a newer user @Ejection Music who has recently hit over 700 subscribers. His thread is here.

Next up @SparktheYoshi coming in with 3k subscribers this week. Check out the milestone thread Here !

Lastly @Billy AngelWing coming in with 550 subscribers, or should I say 555 subscribers (At the time of writing this thread.) :) Check out the thread here.

So that's it for another week, which do you think was the most deserving of our mentions? Visit the poll at the top and have your say. We are also looking to showcase the very best of your contributions to the forums, so if you have a tip, resource, service, milestone or introduction thread that you think should be showcased then please don't hesitate to get in touch!

Freedom ought to relax rules on subscription because it's now an absolutely vital requirement of YouTube Partnership. Not being able to support each other defeats the purpose of a network. The supermassive channels on YouTube worked together to make each other succeed. Cutting away community teamwork for fledgling channels is detrimental to ultimate aims and objectives of the people on here.

Freedom! can't really do much here, this is YouTube's doing. F! is looking into providing some of its tools to channels below it though.

Unfortunately its not the network making the rules about needing the subscriptions, they have to comply to YT rules for partnerships as well. We still have the ability to support each other through tools, such as this forum

YouTube Partnership requirement is written by YT. This is beyond Freedom's authority.

However, is there really a rule made by YouTube that explicitly prohibits subscription advertising? Channels on YouTube explicitly encourage subscription and likes. It's become the standard followed by everybody.

Well at the minute Sponsorships outlined on the YT dashboard aren't available until you have 1K subscribers, so again MCN's wouldn't be able to do anything really about this. As for subscription advertising, it not really sure how any MCN would be able to help with this on your behalf apart from maybe calling more attention to YT RED. Other than that MCN's, like Freedom normally offer their own types and forms of sponsorships as seen on partners Freedom Dashboard
