Based on how many people still talk about Minecraft I wouldn't say its dead. Personally I don't see the point with it or enjoy minecraft myself but I know loads of people that do.

It really depends tbh. The game its self isn't dead, but many communities of the game are slowly dying.

I don't think Minecraft is dying but I think people are looking for more maps and things to add to it.

It's in a weird stage of decline, It's still popular and I feel like it's always going tone, but not nearly as popular as it was back then.
