Hi there, so recently I used a song by vexento (A copyright free musical artist) and yet I got a copyright claim by him on one of my videos, any ideas why this could be?

That's a hard time - when I have started a few years back i got a strike and it was mistake suggested by one the Training which i have purchased from Udemy - No Support from the Teacher ...

As mention by LW001 the best bet would be the dispute the claim, as its unfair especially if you have the permission to use this

Dispute it and:
- Provide a link to the song
- Make it clear that you were allowed to use it
