Hello, everybody! I'm back to recap another week! November is going by quickly. Today we’ll catch up on things around the forums, see what news YouTube might have for us, and take a peek at recent topics and videos from Freedom! Central last week!
The Steam Group that Freedom! has, is an important place for any gamers in this community to check in on periodically. We know that in the past the activity there was… well, non-existent, at times. However, I’m happy to say that the group is much more lively now, and there are actual things happening! What kinds of things? Giveaways! Events! Announcements! Discussions! YouTube continues to improve upon YouTube Kids, this time by adding more parental controls. Find out all of the ways that you can manage the YouTube Kids experience that the children in your life have: youtube.googleblog.com/2016/11/more-parental-controls
YouTube Help | Managing your notifications!
The YouTube Help channel uploaded a short video to help show people how to enable and manage notifications in Google Chrome. This is one channel I keep an eye on, so that we don’t miss anything like this that could potentially help some people learn more about the YouTube platform. There is a lot to know, even if it isn’t a new feature, it seems there is always something to learn or teach to others.
Freedom! will be at Vidcon 2017
Giving everyone the chance to prepare wayyyy ahead of time! It is confirmed that Freedom! will have at least 3 official representatives at VidCon next year; one being Anthony Smith of course! I know it is pretty early to talk about this, but events are sometimes announced on the Freedom! channel a bit too short notice for many people to prepare and participate. Freedom! Family I have one question for you: Is this soon enough? Ha! Let’s go ahead and spend a moment now being pre-hyped for this! Wooot! lol
Freedom! Central Live Stream?!
Anthony live streamed this weekend out-of-the-blue and gave viewers the chance to weigh in on some Freedom! Academy auditions. The live discussion was a great opportunity to share some notes with each other about what it takes to be a captivating presenter. Anthony also answered some questions from viewers. Streams are something Freedom! hopes to be able to do more of. Admittedly though, the current internet at HQ was a bit unstable; but Anthony said they may have a fix in the future. They’re brainstorming!

This week on The George Show we found out about Overwolf, a great platform for gamers to use that has a plethora of tools for many different games. A cool thing about Overwolf is that if you make apps that help gamers, you could get your app featured on there too!
