Hello, welcome to another help thread written on my phone.

Recently we've seen a drastical increase of "It's been a while since I've applied for Freedom" threads and I thought a guide would need to be made.

Introduction
Once you apply to join the Freedom network on https://freedom.tm you will have to wait for a few days. Be sure to check your Freedom Dashboard regularly. Below I'll be listing the main things you need to look into for the process not to be taking as long or to look into why it's taking so long for you.

Monetisation
Requires 10 000 Lifetime Views, 4 000 Watch Hours in the last 12 Months and 1 000 Subscribers
I'll need to say this once and for all here: You need monetisation in order to get accepted to Freedom. Freedom makes money only by monetising your videos throughout different services. If they're not able to monetize your videos there they wouldn't have a reason to partner you. Mostly this will require you to create an Adsense account, though this will not change anything really. You'll make that account and it'll get useless once you've been approved to Freedom and joined the MCN. If you've earned at least ten dollars through AdSense you'll be able to receive the rest of your money by closing the AdSense account. Once you've assured monetisation is enabled you can look into the next step:

Copyrighted content
Another popular reason people aren't able to join the Freedom MCN is copyrighted content. Please note that as soon as you have just one strike Freedom will most likely deny you. Though strikes aren't the only reason here. If your channel has a large amount of claims or content ID matches it may also be denied. As I've said above, Freedom only makes money from the revenue share on partnered channels. If videos can't be monetised there's virtually no reason to join a MCN as you can't monetise it nevertheless.

Violation of YouTube's content policies

This is a more rare reason but if your channel has content violating YouTube's content policies or community guidelines Freedom will deny your channel as well.

Have further questions?
For further questions about why you're stuck in the invitation process you'll have to contact Freedom support at https://freedom.support.tm/ including:
  • A screenshot of your YouTube features page
  • Your Freedom Dashboard ID found at https://freedom.tm/dashboard/profile
  • A link to your channel (youtube.com/channel/UC...). Please note that if your channel has a custom URL it would still be helpful to try and find your channel ID or use the old link as it would save their support some time.
  • A detailed explanation of how long you've been waiting and what you've done.
Freedom support will likely forward this to the QC team responsible for these invitations.

After you've been accepted
After you've been accepted to join Freedom, you will get a green button on your freedom dashboard allowing you to get into a live chat with a Freedom staff member who will onboard you to Freedom. You can ask them any questions you want and they'll answer them to you.

I will update this thread once I get to my PC or just keep it this way. #PhoneThreadsMasterRace

I was going to create a thread like this during my day off work tomorrow, but clearly you had the same idea. Thanks for doing this LW001, all your hard work around the forums is greatly appreciated.
